BEN Muncaster will line up for Scotland A this weekend – seven days after making his international debut.
The Edinburgh Rugby star was named in the full team’s starting line-up for the 59-21 win over Portugal on Saturday.
Now, he will line up alongside fellow debutant Freddie Douglas when Scotland A take on Chile at Edinburgh’s Hive Stadium.
Muncaster enjoyed the experience of representing his country at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
Speaking after the full-time whistle, the 23-year-old from North Berwick told BBC Scotland: “Even though this was a special day for me and my family, I want to push on, I want to get as many caps as I possibly can.
“Whether I play in the Australia or the Chile game, I’m going to give it my absolute all and hit the ground running a bit more.
“I’ve got some game time in the national shirt, so yeah, I can’t wait.”
The nine tries scored on Saturday afternoon helped Scotland to bounce back from defeat to South Africa the weekend earlier.
Now, Scotland, including Aberlady’s Rory Darge and Musselburgh-born Huw Jones, neither of whom featured against Portugal, will look to round off The Famous Grouse Nations Series with victory over Australia on Sunday.
The Scotland A match against Chile kicks off at 6pm on Saturday.
