WINTER weather has wiped out East Lothian's interest in the Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL) and East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) this afternoon (Saturday).

Tranent were due to host Caledonian Braves in a top of the table SLFL clash but fell victim to the weather.

Meanwhile, it is much the same in the EoSFL.

Dunbar United were not scheduled to have a game and they will be joined on the sidelines by Musselburgh Athletic, Haddington Athletic, Preston Athletic and Ormiston Primrose.

The Honest Toun team were due to travel to Jeanfield Swifts in another top of the table clash while EoSFL Premier Division rivals Haddington Athletic and Dundonald Bluebell were due to lock horns.

In the First Division, Preston were looking forward to welcoming Kirkcaldy & Dysart.

Finally, Ormiston Primrose were preparing to take on Fauldhouse United but the game has been called off.
