THREE cup clashes and a single league game are on the fixture schedule for East Lothian sides this afternoon (Saturday).
Haddington Athletic are the only one of the county teams looking for three points.
They host an Edinburgh University side who would move out of the drop zone in the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Premier Division with a positive result.
Meanwhile, former EoSFL champions Tranent travel to one of the league’s form clubs in Hill of Beath Hawthorn in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup.
Finally, Musselburgh Athletic and Preston Athletic face away trips in the South of Scotland Challenge Cup.
Musselburgh head to Bo’ness United, who they will face in the Scottish Cup later this month, while Preston venture to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.
Match of the Day
Haddington Athletic v Edinburgh University
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
MILLFIELD hosts East Lothian’s only senior football this afternoon and Haddington have the chance to move up to fourth in the league.
Three points would see them move above Whitburn at the top end of the table.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh University are keen to avoid back-to-back relegations and know even a point would take them above St Andrews United.
The Hi Hi will be looking for a first home three points since a 4-2 triumph over Tynecastle last month.
Kirkintilloch Rob Roy v Preston Athletic
South of Scotland Challenge Cup Round Four
Kick-off 2pm
BOOSTED by an impressive win over Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, Preston travel west looking for cup progression.
A Kris Renton hat-trick gave them all three points in Fife last weekend and keeps them out of the EoSFL First Division relegation zone.
Their opponents have enjoyed a similar season and sit 13th in the First Division of the West of Scotland Football League.
They lost out against Ardrossan Winton Rovers last weekend.
Bo’ness United v Musselburgh Athletic
South of Scotland Challenge Cup Round Four
Kick-off 3pm
A REHEARSAL for their upcoming Scottish Cup clash sees Bo’ness United and Musselburgh Athletic face off.
The two sides will meet in the national cup competition later this month but can either gain a psychological advantage this afternoon?
Musselburgh have shown impressive form as of late, grinding out results to open up a five point lead at the top of the EoSFL Premier Division.
Meanwhile, Bo’ness United sit in the top half of the SLFL and have only lost four out of 16 league games this term.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn v Tranent
East of Scotland Qualifying Cup Round Three
Kick-off 2.30pm
ANOTHER cup tie which pits sides from the EoSFL and the SLFL against one another.
Both clubs come into the game in impressive form.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn have raced up the EoSFL Premier Division and would go above Musselburgh if they won their games in hand.
Meanwhile, Tranent were seconds away from going top of the SLFL last weekend as they drew with league leaders and reigning champions East Kilbride.
