THREE of East Lothian’s senior football sides are in action tonight (Tuesday).

Tranent face a second home game in a matter of days as they welcome the University of Stirling in the Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL).

Meanwhile, Dunbar United host Tynecastle and Musselburgh Athletic look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Dundonald Bluebell in the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL).

TITLE-CHASING Tranent host University of Stirling as they look to keep the pressure on at the top of the SLFL.

Tranent defeated Cumbernauld Colts on Saturday and now sit just two points behind second placed East Kilbride.

Tonight’s visitors lost heavily at Gala Fairydean Rovers and will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Kick-off 7.30pm

A CHANCE to put further daylight between themselves and the bottom of the table is on offer to Dunbar United tonight.

The Seasiders sit ninth in the top flight of the EoSFL and welcome a Tynecastle team two places below them in the table.

Three points for Dunbar would be enough to lift them into the top half of the table.

Tynecastle defeated bottom of the table St Andrews United at the weekend.

MUSSELBURGH Athletic suffered a rare defeat at the weekend as they lost out to in-form Hill of Beath Hawthorn.

Now, they are back in Fife looking to get back to winning ways and the chance to open up a gap to Jeanfield Swifts below them.

Dundonald Bluebell sit 10th in the table and come into the game having drawn their last two league encounters 2-2.
