EAST Lothian’s top East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) sides are all on their travels this afternoon (Saturday).
Musselburgh Athletic, Haddington Athletic and Dunbar United will be hoping to return with three points from their away trips.
Meanwhile, Tranent, finally, return to Foresters Park after a lengthy spell of away games.
Preston Athletic and Ormiston Primrose will also be hoping home advantage pays off as they look to move away from the bottom of the EoSFL First Division and Third Division.
Match of the Day
Tranent v Cumbernauld Colts
Scottish Lowland Football League
Kick-off 3pm
SEPTEMBER 7 was the last time Tranent played a game at home.
During that time, they have picked up some valuable points and currently sit fourth in the Scottish Lowland Football League table.
Their visitors have won just two league games this term and sit third bottom of the table.
If Tranent are to continue a title push, this is the sort of game they will be looking to win.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn v Musselburgh Athletic
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 1.30pm
TOP-of-the-table Musselburgh Athletic travel to one of the in form teams in the top flight of the EoSFL.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn have only lost one league game this term and would move to within two points of Musselburgh if they won their games in hand.
Liam Burns and his side will be boosted by victory over Caledonian Braves in the Scottish Cup last weekend.
But they will need to be at their best once again if they are to remain in first place.
Whitburn Juniors v Haddington Athletic
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2pm
THIRD hosts fourth in the top flight of the EoSFL.
Whitburn have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign after promotion last term.
However, Haddington can leapfrog their hosts if they pick up three points this afternoon.
Both teams have scored 26 goals in the opening dozen games and it could be another high scoring contest.
Sauchie Juniors v Dunbar United
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A POINTS deduction has put Sauchie to the bottom of the Premier Division table.
They will, understandably, be looking to pick up points quickly and know that three points could lift them back out of the bottom three.
Meanwhile, Dunbar sit in mid-table after an inconsistent start to the season.
Three points could push them level with seventh-placed Penicuik Athletic.
Preston Athletic v Edinburgh South
East of Scotland Football League First Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A RELEGATION battle was certainly not how Preston Athletic would have predicted their season to go.
However, they currently sit third bottom of the First Division after a disappointing defeat to bottom club Lochore Welfare.
Edinburgh South, who sit one point above Preston, are the visitors to the Pennypit.
Again, Preston will be looking to get their season up and running with three important points.
Ormiston Primrose v Livingston United
East of Scotland Football League Third Division
Kick-off 2pm
A SINGLE point is keeping Ormiston Primrose off the bottom of the EoSFL Third Division.
That is a place occupied by their visitors Livingston United, who will be looking to leapfrog their hosts.
It is still very congested in the Third Division table but Ormiston will need to start picking up points if they are to push up the standings.
