SCOTLAND will kick off their Rugby World Cup in fewer than 300 days.
The draw for the Women’s Rugby World Cup took place last month, with Scotland now set to face Wales, Fiji and Canada in the group phase of the competition, which takes place in England next year, and match dates have now been confirmed.
Musselburgh’s Francesca McGhie will be aiming to be part of the Scotland squad which faces Wales at the Salford Community Stadium on August 23.
Seven days later, they will be back at the same ground to take on Fiji, who they played for the first time earlier this year.
Their group phase is wrapped up when they take on Canada at Exeter’s Sandy Park on September 6.
New Zealand will be looking to defend the title that they won in 2021 when they defeated England in the final.
