MUSSELBURGH Athletic will have home advantage once again as they host Bo’ness United in the Scottish Cup.
The Honest Toun team – already the only East Lothian club left in the competition – reached the third round in memorable circumstances yesterday (Saturday).
Trailing 1-0 to Caledonian Braves, they found themselves down to 10 men when Andy Dempster was shown a red card two minutes into the second half.
However, they turned the game on its head when Jackson Barker equalised and Jonny Court scored the winner, just as he had done in the previous round against Darvel.
Bo’ness United, who play in the Scottish Lowland Football League, knocked out Hill of Beath Hawthorn yesterday.
The third round ties are due to be played on the weekend of November 30.
