Match of the Day
Musselburgh Athletic v Caledonian Braves
Scottish Cup – Second Round
Kick-off 3pm
TOP of the EOSFL Premier Division welcomes top of the Scottish Lowland Football League at Olivebank.
Musselburgh have defeated Penicuik Athletic and Darvel to reach this stage and will be looking to reach the third round for the first time.
Fourteen wins from 16 games means Musselburgh will surely be in confident mood but they face a tough task.
Caledonian Braves are unbeaten in their 14 league encounters this term and will look to make it through.
Dunipace v Dunbar United
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A SLOW start to the season is gradually being forgotten about by Dunbar United.
The Seasiders are unbeaten in the league since the beginning of September and have picked up 10 points out of 12 during that time.
Their hosts sit one point and one place above them in the table and could move above Haddington Athletic with three points.
Preston Athletic v Lochore Welfare
East of Scotland Football League First Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
PRESTON Athletic almost pulled off an incredible comeback last time out after finding themselves 4-0 down against Bo’ness Athletic.
Ultimately, the game finished 4-3 but Preston will be hoping things are a bit more straight-forward this afternoon.
Their visitors sit bottom of the table and have managed just three draws from nine games.
Victory for the hosts will by no means be simple but it is a game they will need to win if they are to push for the top half.
