TOP of the table Musselburgh Athletic will be looking to stay in front of the chasing pack when they host Hutchison Vale.

Now, they have to cope with any additional pressure that comes from being in top spot.

Hutchison Vale sit out of the relegation zone on goal difference only and will be looking for a result to ease clear of the bottom three.

QUIETLY and without much fuss, Tranent have coped well with a lengthy run of away fixtures.

That has seen them edge up the SLFL table and they now sit fourth in the standings.

One place – and one point – below them sit Linlithgow Rose, who will have their own ambitions of pushing for promotion.

An intriguing contest looks on the cards for two teams who will not be far away from the top come the end of the season.

TWO points separate Dunbar United and Dundonald Bluebell in the bottom half of the EoSFL Premier Division.

The Seasiders hold a two point advantage and will be looking to put further distance between themselves and the teams below them.

Dunbar lost last time out against Bonnyrigg Rose but have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks.

In contrast, their visitors have lost three of their last four league games and conceded 14 goals along the way.

JUST four weeks have passed since Bo’ness Athletic and Preston Athletic last locked horns.

On that occasion, it was the Pennypit men celebrating as they won by the odd goal in five.

The reigning Second Division champions are enjoying an impressive campaign in the First Division and looking at the possibility of another promotion.
