HOME advantage could prove crucial as East Lothian’s football teams take to the pitch.
Dunbar United, Musselburgh Athletic, Preston Athletic and Ormiston Primrose all kick-off in the county at 2.30pm.
Haddington Athletic are the only county club with league business outside of the area as they head to Fife.
Meanwhile, Tranent take a break from league business for a Scottish Junior Cup second round tie.
Match of the Day
Dunbar United v Luncarty
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A SINGLE point separates Dunbar United and Luncarty towards the foot of the Premier Division.
Both sides sit above the relegation zone but Dunbar are only out of the bottom three on goal difference.
Kevin Haynes and his side have found points hard to come by this term, with just one win from seven league encounters.
A much-needed home win would likely propel the Seasiders up the table.
Musselburgh Athletic v Glenrothes
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
THE possibility of moving back to the top of the Premier Division table is on offer for Musselburgh.
The Olivebank outfit trail both Jeanfield Swifts and Sauchie Juniors by a point at the top of the standings.
Musselburgh picked up six points out of six against their opposition last term.
Glenrothes sit eighth in the table after three wins and three defeats from their opening eight encounters.
St Andrews United v Haddington Athletic
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
WINLESS St Andrews United is the destination for Haddington this afternoon (Saturday).
The Hi Hi lost on their trip to The Clayton Caravan Park Recreation Ground last season when they faced off in the Scottish Cup.
A reversal of that result would be most welcome for Haddington.
Victory could lift them up the table and into the upper reaches of the Premier Division.
Preston Athletic v Bo’ness Athletic
East of Scotland Football League First Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
BACK-TO-BACK victories will have boosted morale in the Preston Athletic dressing room.
A win at Whitehill Welfare and Vale of Leithen have got the Stevie McLeish era off to a promising start.
Now, they face their biggest test so far as they welcome fourth-placed Bo’ness Athletic.
Clearly, a win would be ideal but even a draw could lift the Pennypit club up the table.
Ormiston Primrose v Lochgelly Albert
East of Scotland Football League Third Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A BRIGHT start to the new season has somewhat stuttered in recent weeks for Ormiston Primrose.
The county side found themselves up towards the promotion places but have slipped to second bottom of the Third Division.
Lochgelly Albert are the visitors to New Recreation Park and they have scored 23 goals in just six league games this term while Ormiston have conceded 16.
There should be goals on offer this afternoon.
St Roch’s v Tranent
Scottish Junior Cup Second Round
Kick-off 2.30pm
JAMES McGrory Park is the destination for Tranent in the Scottish Junior Cup.
The Glasgow side are in the second tier of the West of Scotland Football League (WoSFL).
Tranent come into the contest on the back of a draw at Gretna 2008 and a narrow defeat to East Kilbride.
Jonny Stewart will be hoping to see his side get back to winning ways but St Roch’s will be looking to spring a cup shock.
