TRANENT return to Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL) action this evening (Tuesday).

Albion Rovers are the visitors to Foresters Park after both sides enjoyed big cup wins on Saturday.

Tranent were 7-0 winners away to Edinburgh University in the East of Scotland (Qualifying) Cup while Albion Rovers went one better in defeating Fauldhouse United 8-0 in the South of Scotland Challenge Cup.

In the league, both sides have played four games with Tranent sitting three points ahead of their Coatbridge opposition.

Victory for Tranent in the 7.45pm kick-off could see them close the gap on current leaders Celtic B.
