LEWIS Rollo extended his advantage at the top of two categories in the British Superbikes after another busy weekend of action.
The motorcyclist and his INCompetition Sencat Aprilia Team travelled to Brands Hatch for round six of the season.
The Gifford rider has enjoyed success at both Knockhill and Snetterton in recent weeks and was looking to build on those impressive showings.
Top-20 finishes in each of the three races allowed Rollo to extend his lead at the top of both the Pathway Riders class and also the R&G Newcomers.
He said: “It was another brilliant weekend; us Scots aren’t made for weather like this!
“We got loads of laps in and I managed to put in my quickest time on Friday and then again in qualifying.
“We just kept improving all weekend.
“I got some good starts in the first two races but for race one we made the wrong change to the bike, so I couldn’t push as much as I would have liked too.
“We reverted to the settings we knew worked well for race two, managed another good start, get in the points and take the Pathway win.
“For the final race I got a terrible start, but it was probably one of our best races of the season.
“I was riding with some experienced Superbike riders and didn’t feel out of place.
“The overall result didn’t reflect the race for me, but it was great to take another Pathway win.
“I can’t wait for Thruxton as I think the Aprilia will be well suited there.”
Rollo finished 18th overall in both the first and last races of the weekend, with a 15th-place finish – good enough for a point in the main class – sandwiched in between.
He now holds a 39-point lead over Alex Olsen in the Pathway Riders class alongside a 57-point advantage over Brayden Elliott in the R&G Newcomers class.
Attention now switches to three races at Thruxton, with the seventh round of the series taking place on August 9 to 11.
Meanwhile, a non-finish in the second race of the Quattro Group British Supersport cost Adon Davie the lead in the Supersport Cup classification.
The Prestonpans rider topped the table on his Ducati going into the event.
He finished fourth behind Cameron Hall in the opening race in Kent but a non-finish in the second race allowed Hall, who again finished on the podium, to move eight points clear at the top.
The next two races of the series take place at Thruxton.
