ROSS High and Haddington Rugby Clubs both begin their quest for National Shield glory with home contests.
The first round of the competition, which begins with sides outwith the National Leagues, takes place on October 5.
Ross High and Haddington are joined by Dunbar in the first round.
The Tranent side, who were relegated to East League Division One at the end of last season, will welcome Livingston, who play in East Region League Division Two, to Blawearie Road.
The winners go on to face an away trip to Trinity Academicals in the second round the following month.
Meanwhile, Haddington will host Penicuik at Neilson Park. The county side will be favourites as they play in East League Division One while their rivals are in the tier below. The winners have a home contest against Langholm to look forward to.
Finally, Dunbar will head west along the A1 to tackle Portobello in the first round.
The hosts play their rugby in the same division as Haddington and Ross High – one tier above Dunbar. The winners will travel to Dalkeith in the second round.
