BRITISH Superbikes star Lewis Rollo will be aiming to mix it up with the best in the sport again this weekend.

Round five of the championships takes place at Snetterton, near Norwich, tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.

Three races will take place over the weekend with Rollo aiming to build on an impressive showing last month at Knockhill.

Rollo, who lives in Gifford, made the step up to the premier class of domestic superbike racing at the start of the season.

Since then, he has shown what he is capable of, including finishing 11th in the second of three races in Fife a fortnight ago.

His performances have him 20th in the main championship standings but also leading the way in both the British Superbikes Pathway – with maximum points from nine of the 11 rounds – and also the R&G Newcomers classification.

The first British Superbikes race at Snetterton takes place at 4pm tomorrow (Saturday) with races at 1.15pm and 4.15pm the following day.

Adon Davie, from Prestonpans, is competing in the Quattro Group British Supersport Cup but has opted not to make the long journey south.

Instead, he will be hoping results go in his favour and he continues to lead the way at the top of the standings, although his 27-point advantage is likely to be trimmed.
