FIVE-STAR North Berwick have been celebrating a special cup win.

The club’s under-15s side faced off against Corstorphine Dynamo in the final of the Fife & Lothians Division Four Under-15s League Cup last Wednesday night.

The contest at Edinburgh’s Saughton Enclosure would go the way of the East Lothian team, who recorded a 5-0 win to pick up the trophy.

An impressive travelling support made their way from East Lothian into the capital.

A goal in the opening 10 minutes set North Berwick on the right path and they would go on to round off an impressive night.

Roddy Blyth, head coach, was delighted with his team, who scored through Markey Angel (2), Isaac Gerald (2) and Fin Pult.

He said: “It’s been a truly special season; one the lads will always remember.

“The team also won the league title, going the whole season from August-May, undefeated P22 W19 D3 L0.

“As their head coach, I am so proud and pleased for the lads.

“A real team effort from start to finish for everyone involved.”.
