ORMISTON Primrose will need to defeat title-chasing Bo’ness Athletic if they are to have any chance of staying in the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Second Division.

Only a win will do for Richie Weir’s men tonight (Monday) at New Recreation Park.

They trail Tweedmouth Rangers by nine points at the bottom of the table with just three games left to play.

The hosts will be boosted by a 3-2 win over Newburgh over the weekend, which has ensured they will finish ahead of their rivals.

However, they face a tough task against a Bo’ness Athletic side who top the table by a point ahead of Thornton Hibs.

The reverse fixture, in September, finished 6-0 in favour of tonight’s away side.

Meanwhile, Preston Athletic are also on the lookout for three points as they travel to Lochore Welfare.

Paul Currie and John Daly's side have enjoyed an impressive run of form that has lifted them from near the foot of the First Division table to its top half.

A 1-0 win over Whitehill Welfare has them seventh in the standings.

Three points against third bottom Lochore will move them above Heriot-Watt University and into sixth spot with just one game left to play.

Both games kick off at 7.30pm.
