EAST Lothian’s cricket sides begin their new season this weekend.
Tranent and Preston Village Cricket Club, Musselburgh Cricket Club and Bass Rock Cricket Club all have multiples teams in action, as they are joined by Haddington and Dunbar in the leagues this summer.
The majority of the contests take place tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
In the First Division of the East of Scotland Cricket Association (ESCA), both Tranent and Preston Village (TPV) and Musselburgh have away matches.
TPV head to Murrayfield DAFS while Musselburgh are also in the Capital as they take on Marchmont.
In Division Three, there is an all-East Lothian clash as North Berwick-based Bass Rock host Haddington at Recreation Park.
There is another East Lothian derby in Division Four as TPV 2 welcome Dunbar to the Polwarth Oval.
In Division Six, Musselburgh 2 and TPV 3 are both in action, hosting Dunnikier 2 at Lewisvale Park, and visiting Morton 3 respectively.
Meadowmill is the venue for TPV 4 and Old Contemptibles in Division Seven.
Finally, in Division Eight, TPV 5 head over the Forth to take on Dunfermline and Carnegie 3, while Bass Rock 2 host Livingston 4 on Sunday.
