IT WAS an East Lothian double on Saturday as county sides lifted both trophies at the annual North Berwick Sevens.
Teams from throughout the country took part in the tournament at Recreation Park at the weekend.
In the end, both the final of the cup and the conclusion of the plate came down to East Lothian teams.
In the cup, Musselburgh defeated Dunbar, while North Berwick ensured that the plate stayed at home as they beat Haddington.
This year also marked the first year that the under-18sā 10s tournament took place the day before the sevens competition.
Traditionally, the two tournaments have taken place on the same day.
However, the growing popularity of the two competitions led to the decision to separate them over two days.
In the end, it was Strathallan who won the under-18s competition.
