FRANCESCA McGhie could make her first appearance at this year’s Women's Six Nations against England on Saturday.
The winger missed the win over Wales and the defeat to France but has been named on the bench for this weekend’s clash at a sold-out Hive Stadium in Edinburgh.
McGhie, from Musselburgh, burst onto the international scene during last year’s tournament and has become a key part of Bryan Easson’s squad.
The head coach has made two changes to the starting XV ahead of the 2.15pm kick-off.
Experienced Borders pair Lana Skeldon and Chloe Rollie return to the side.
McGhie has not featured for her country since competing in WXV2.
England top the table after a 48-0 win away to Italy and a 46-10 triumph over England at Ashton Gate.
