SNOOKER star Ross Muir is going for a sizeable shock next week as he tries to topple former world champions on consecutive days.
The Musselburgh potter faces four-time world champion John Higgins in the second qualifying round of the World Open.
Higgins and Muir will face off for the first time at the Barnsley Metrodome today (Wednesday) at 2.30pm.
The following day, Muir will attempt to seal his spot at the Welsh Open.
In his way is former seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry.
The match, the first between the two, is due to be played in Barnsley at 1pm.
