FOURTEEN-TIME world indoor bowls champion Alex Marshall will soon begin his quest to add to his title collection.
The Tranent bowler is joined at the World Indoor Bowls Championships at Potters Holiday Resort in Hopton-on-Sea by Billy Mellors.
Marshall is a six-time winner of both the open singles and the open pairs, as well as lifting the mixed pairs crown twice.
The 56-year-old, who last won the singles title in 2015, takes on 2010 winner Greg Harlow on Thursday (January 11).
Mellors, who clinched the final qualifying spot in November, returns to the tournament after a 20-year hiatus.
The Aberlady bowler faces top-16 player Jason Greenslade this evening (Tuesday), from 7.30pm.
