FAMILY history was made as a golfer won a competition which is held annually in memory of his grandfather.
Ellis Gray was victorious in the Jack Gray Memorial Three Club Golf Tournament at the Old Course, Musselburgh, recently.
The annual golfing challenge is held in memory of the late Jack Gray, who organised the event for many years on behalf of the Old Musselburgh Club.
Eight members of the Old Musselburgh Club took part.
They were joined by Mr Gray’s son Kenny and grandson Ellis.
Eric Stoddart was the runner-up and nearest the hole at the fifth hole, and Ivor Highley was third.
The prizegiving was followed by a buffet in the clubhouse.
The Old Musselburgh Club was grateful to members Peter Millar, Andrew Caird and Mr Highley, and to the Old Course Golf Club for its help in making the event such a success.
