SPRINTER Maria Lyle will be going to Paris in defence of her World Para Athletics Championships.
The competition takes place in France from July 8-17 and will feature athletes from across the globe.
The World Championships – the first to be held since 2019 – take place just over a year ahead of the 2024 Paralympic Games in the same city.
British Athletics named their squad this morning (Friday), with Lyle, of Dunbar, included.
The 23-year-old, who has spastic dipelgic cerebral palsy, will compete in both the T35 100m and 200m at the event.
