A COUNTY athlete will help fly the flag for Scotland at a prestigious event later this month.
scottishathletics has selected a team of six for the International Mountain Cup, which takes place in Annecy, east of Lyon, in France.
The event is for under-18 athletes and includes Ronnie Brown.
The Team East Lothian athlete is joined by Thomas Hilton and Rowan Taylor on the male side of the team, with Jessica Taylor, Katie Meek and Isla Paterson also included in the squad.
The event takes place on May 27 and will see teams racing over the ski pistes above Lake Annecy over one lap of 4.6km.
