ATHLETE Corey Campbell has finished on the podium at a prestigious event ahead of the London Marathon.
While thousands of runners completed the 26.3-mile course on Sunday, the TCS London Mini Marathon was held the day beforehand.
Campbell, of Dunbar, was among those representing Team Scotland in the under-17 men’s race.
He came home in third spot over the 2.6-kilometre course and also helped the under-17 men to a team bronze medal.
Campbell had secured his place on the national team after taking gold over 5,000m at the Young Athletes Road Races, which were held at East Fortune earlier this year.
Scotland’s under-17 women’s team scooped gold while the under-15 boys’ came home with silver and the under-15 girls’ finished in sixth spot.
