SPRINTER Maria Lyle will return from the Middle East with two medals.
The Dunbar athlete was competing in the World Para Athletics Dubai Grand Prix alongside some of the best athletes from across the world.
Lyle, who has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, was on the track in the T35 100m and 200m events.
On Monday, her time of 31.89 seconds was good enough for a silver medal behind China’s Xia Zhou in the 200m.
The two athletes were competing in the 100m final today (Wednesday), with Lyle again finishing on the podium.
Her time of 15.30 seconds saw her finish behind Zhou and compatriot Qianqian Guo.
