KEVIN McDonald has been appointed as Musselburgh Athletic's permanent first-team manager, the club has confirmed.
McDonald had taken on the role following the resignation of Calvin Shand as Burgh boss in January but now has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis.
The club confirmed the news on Twitter this afternoon.
Burgh won 5-1 at Tweedmouth Rangers on Sunday to guarantee finishing in the top five of Conference A of the East of Scotland Football League, enough to guarantee they will play in the new East of Scotland League Premier Division next season.
