EastEnders legend Anita Dobson looks totally unrecognisable in a terrifying new role on Channel 4's Generation Z.
The actress, who left the popular BBC soap opera 36 years ago, is now starring in the new series alongside other stars like Sue Johnston.
Anita is best known for her time on EastEnders where she played Angie Watts for three years during the 1980s.
Her character captured the nation's attention for her big hair, big personality and alcoholic lifestyle.
EastEnders star Anita Dobson to star in new Channel 4 miniseries Generation Z
The former EastEnders legend will now star in a six-part miniseries premiering on Sunday, October 27 at 9pm.
The Channel 4 programme follows a group of young people as they attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse caused by an overturned army truck carrying a toxic substance.
The dangerous gas then affects a nearby care home, turning elderly residents into a swarm of flesh-eating zombies.
The TV series, which was filmed in Wales in the autumn of 2023, sees Anita take on the role of Nan Janine.

Sue Johnston will also star in the programme, playing the lead role of Cecily alongside co-star Paul Bentall, who portrays Frank.
Speaking about the brand new series, Rebecca Holdsworth, the commissioning editor at Channel 4, said: "Generation Z promises to have all of the unique visual flair and mischievous spirit that characterises Ben’s film work.
"It is in turn wickedly funny, deftly political, and delivers on the kind of eye-popping shocks and thrills that mean this is shaping up to be a zombie drama like no other."
