A CHANCE to find information about how to deal with rising energy costs this winter takes place tomorrow (Friday).
Organisations including Advice Direct Scotland, Home Energy Scotland, HomeStart, East Lothian Women's Aid, East Lothian Foodbank and Volunteer Centre East Lothian, are supporting the drop-in session at the Pennypit Centre in Prestonpans.
Paul McLennan, MSP for East Lothian, encouraged people to head along between 10am and noon.
No appointment is necessary and Mr McLennan said: “This winter is going to be extremely tough for many East Lothian residents and families.
"We know that energy prices are to rise again come January and Christmas is fast approaching.
"I want to make sure people are equipped with the right information to contact the right people if and when they require support.
"I’m hosting a winter advice surgery to give the space to ask for help to anyone that may already be struggling or is worried about how they’ll manage over winter.
"Please do drop in if you can.”
Mr McLennan urged people unable to attend the event to get in contact with his office so they can be pointed in the right direction.
