MUSIC will fill an historic Haddington church in the lead-up to Christmas.
Four local choirs and ensembles will perform in St Mary’s Parish Church between December 7 and 15.
Haddington Community Choir are the first to perform in the church on the town’s Sidegate.
Their performance takes place from 5pm on Saturday before the Hadley Court Singers perform on Sunday from 5pm.
Next Saturday (December 14) it is the turn of DM Brass from 4.30pm.
Finally, the Garleton Singers perform in the church from 6.30pm next Sunday (December 15).
A spokesperson for the church added: “We also welcome St Columba’s Hospice as part of their annual ‘Light Up a Life Event’ on Thursday, December 5.
“The Tree of Remembrance will be lit in the gardens of Haddington Garden Trust next to Haddington House and refreshments will be served beforehand and afterwards in St Mary’s with an opportunity to donate to the charity or buy items from a stall inside the kirk.”
