THE owner of Ballencrieff Castle is set to speak about its restoration.
Peter Gillies will give a talk at Dirleton Kirk Hall on Thursday, December 5, at 7.30pm.
Mr Gillies and his partner Lin have worked hard on restoring the 1507-built castle, near Aberlady, which was accidentally burnt down in 1868.
The talk, organised by Gullane and Dirleton History Society, is free for members and £3 for non-members.
