SNOW predicted for East Lothian over the weekend will now reach the county sooner, says the Met Office.
A new yellow weather warning has been issued for East Lothian, with Storm Bert expected to impact locations across the UK.
Yesterday, the Met Office published a yellow weather alert, for snow and rain, for a vast area of East Lothian, from 4am on Saturday until 9am Sunday.
Now, they believe the snowy conditions will reach the county sooner, with a yellow weather warning issued from now until 10am on Friday for snow and ice.
The original weekend yellow warning is still in place, as is a yellow warning for wind on Saturday (5am to 7pm).

A description of the warning, on BBC Weather, reads: "Wintry showers and icy patches are expected this evening and overnight, perhaps leading to some travel disruption."
The BBC also noted that some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times, some injuries from slips and falls might occur, and there probably will be icy patches on roads, pavements and cycle paths.
