A ROAD closure and temporary traffic lights are in place on Tranent's Church Street as repairs are carried out to the gas network.
Gas distribution company SGN is carrying out the works, which have been ongoing since last week.
Temporary two-way traffic lights are in place on Church Street as a result of the repairs, and a temporary road closure is in place at its junction with Elder Street.
A timeline has not been set for when the disruption will finish.
Waseem Hanif, spokesperson for SGN, said: “We'd like to thank the local community for your ongoing patience and support while we work to repair our gas network.
“It's too early to say how long repairs will take to complete at this stage.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused by our work."
