BOXING superstar Josh Taylor is lending a hand to a care home's fundraising mission to support a charity helping children with critical illnesses.
Haddington Care Home, part of the Care Concern Group, is aiming to raise £1,000 for the Make-A-Wish charity.
The charity has seen an increase in requests from seriously ill children with less than a year to live.
The care home has helped to raise funds so far through a Halloween raffle, car boot sale and quiz night.
A Christmas fair is also being organised, set to take place next Saturday (November 30), from 11am to 3pm.
The fair will have a range of stalls selling various items, along with a tombola and raffle.
Santa Claus will also make an appearance in his grotto, ready to meet children and hand out gifts.
The care home has received a donation from former undisputed world champion boxer Josh Taylor, who lives in the town and has given a pair of signed boxing gloves for a silent auction.
Bids can be made via email to activities@haddingtoncare.co.uk or by messaging Haddington Care Home's Facebook page.
The winning bid will be announced during the Christmas fair.
Meanwhile, Kenny MacKay, who has family ties to the care home, is running the Lanzarote Marathon on December 7 and is hoping to gain sponsorship for the cause.
