A FASHION show in Musselburgh has raised more than £1,500 for local charities.
The recent event, organised by Musselburgh Inner Wheel Club, was held at Our Lady of Loretto Church Hall.
The fashion show, which attracted an audience from Musselburgh and the surrounding area, as well as representatives from other Inner Wheel clubs, was presented by Colours. Everyone enjoyed the chance to try on the clothes which featured on the catwalk.
After expenses, £1,522 was raised at the event, which was the brainchild of club secretary Julie Ramsay, who worked hard to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
“Thanks also must go the the ladies of the club who, as usual, stepped up to the plate and helped to make everything go to plan,” said Sheila Bowler, club spokesperson.
She added: “We were also grateful for the help given by friends and family, particularly with clearing up and tending to the bar. It was greatly appreciated.”
Elaine Clark, club president, also thanked everyone who helped to make the night so successful.
