A HISTORIC church in the centre of Musselburgh looks set to go under the hammer again.
The former High Kirk of St Andrews, on Musselburgh High Street opposite the junction with Bridge Street, was one of a number of lots up for auction on Thursday.
A winning bid of £128,000 was submitted but that was below the reserve price.
A spokesperson for Future Property Auctions said that discussions would take place with the person behind the highest bid to see what would happen next.

However, this afternoon, the building, which was previously occupied by space technology company Astrosat, has been listed as among the lots for an auction on November 28.
An opening bid of £124,000 has been set ahead of the auction.
The building was designed by R Thornton Shiells and originally dates back to 1843 before it was recast in 1889.
It would also later become a doll museum.
