Permission is already in place to transform the premises at 158 Musselburgh High Street into a takeaway.

Now, Kirkcaldy-based Glenshire Group Ltd, which was behind the change of use, has submitted a second planning application which highlights Pizza Hut logos on the front of the building.
Drawings included with the previous application were titled ‘Pizza Hut Shop Alterations’ and showed the customer area on the ground floor, alongside an oven, kitchen area and storage.
Currently, the nearest branch of the pizza chain, which has nearly 20,000 branches across the world, is at Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh.
A decision on the application for advertising consent is expected early in the New Year.
