ONLY “a few” calls were made to police in Haddington regarding disruption involving fireworks.
Police officers were called out to incidents involving fireworks and anti-social behaviour in Edinburgh and Musselburgh last week.
However, in a written report, Constable Kiera Edmond told members of Haddington and District Community Council that it had been quieter in the county town.

She said: “It has been a busy period with Halloween and Fireworks Night; however, it appears there have only been a few calls in the Haddington area relating to fireworks being set off.”
Haddington's annual fireworks display did not take place this year but could return in the future.
