A COUNTY man who carried out an assault at an Edinburgh hospital has been told he must pay his victim compensation.
Callum Reynolds repeatedly punched the man to the head, causing him to fall to the ground, at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
Reynolds, of Stoneybank Court, Musselburgh, also kicked and punched the man to the head and body during the incident on June 16, 2019.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and returned to the dock for sentencing last Wednesday.
Sheriff Eddington sentenced Reynolds to pay the man a compensation order of £225.
