A TRANENT man has appeared in court after an incident in the town.
Liam Edmond, 26, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner when he turned up at an address on the town’s Baxters Neuk earlier this month.
Edmond acted aggressively, shouted and refused to leave the premises when requested to do so.
He also kicked a hole in a wall at the property, all on November 1.
Police were called out to the disturbance and Edmond was arrested and charged under section one of the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act 2016.
Edmond pleaded guilty to the charge, which was aggravated by the abuse of a partner or ex-partner, when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
Sheriff Joseph Stewart deferred sentence on Edmond, of Well Wynd, to later this month.
