The police arrested and charged a man following a report of a disturbance and "concern" for a person at Granada Services on the A1, close to Musselburgh.
At around 6.35pm on Saturday, November 9, Police Scotland were alerted to the disturbance at the service station, located on Old Craighall Road.
Following Police Scotland attending, the man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for assessment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.35pm on Saturday, 9 November, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance and concern for a man at a service station on the A1 near Musselburgh.
“Officers attended and the man was conveyed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for assessment.
"He was arrested and charged, and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
Granada Services confirmed the location of the incident to the Courier.
