INNER Wheel Club of Tranent and District is looking forward to its festive event raising money for local charities as the next addition to its busy calendar.
Next month, the group is hosting its 'coffee and Christmas goodies' fundraiser at East Lothian Co-operative Bowling Club.
Money raised from the event, which will include a tombola among other activities, will be split between several charities based in the town.
Most recently, the group hosted a lunch and raffle at Longniddry Church Hall, which was well attended and raised £1,467.

Prizes were donated by kind members of the community, as well as by Musselburgh’s Tesco store.
The money raised has been donated to Leuchie House, located near North Berwick, which provides respite care for those living with neurological conditions and their families.
President Ros Stewart said: “The club wishes to thank everyone who supported by preparing and serving food, donating raffle prizes and attending the event.
“Your support was greatly appreciated by everyone in the club.”
The club's Christmas fundraiser takes place on December 7, beginning at 10am, with entry priced at £5 for adults and £2 for children.
