THE history of the First Step community project in Musselburgh will be highlighted at its annual general meeting later this month.
The past year of activities will also be celebrated at the meeting, which takes place on Friday, November 29, at 9.30am.
Also featured will be guest speakers from the original founding members of First Step, which is based at 37 Galt Avenue, where the AGM will be held.
First Step is a community-managed project that offers a range of support services for local families, including early learning and childcare for children aged one to five years, groups and courses for parents, family support, volunteering and a counselling service.
It is an independent voluntary organisation managed by local parents and funded by East Lothian Council and other funding bodies.
