AN RNLI crew from Fife helped a lone man to safety after finding him on an upturned dinghy close to Longniddry.
On Monday evening at 8.01pm, Kinghorn RNLI were alerted to a man by himself on an upside-down inflatable boat.
On arrival, the team found the man sitting on top of the boat and he was taken aboard the RNLI team's lifeboat.

The man's boat was towed to Prestonpans, where Fisherrow Coastguard were in attendance.
On Facebook, the RNLI team published a post on the incident.
The statement reads: "At 8.01pm we were tasked to a request for assistance from a lone male on an upturned dinghy off Longniddry.
"Our volunteer crew arrived on scene to find the casualty sitting on top of the upturned inflatable.
"The man was taken aboard the lifeboat and the boat taken in tow to Prestonpans, where Fisherrow Coastguard was waiting."
