CHRISTMAS classics performed by world-renowned Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu will come to life on the big screen in Tranent this December.
The Fraser Centre is one of 500 cinemas which will showcase his new concert, Gold and Silver, on December 7, with screenings at 2pm and 7pm.
Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra perform a set of iconic film scores, waltzes, ballads and chart hits, combining classical, musicals, pop and rock.
Festive classics and carols including Jingle Bells, Silent Night and Ave Maria will also help to kick off the Christmas season.
The filmed concert will feature a behind-the-scenes look and interviews with André, hosted by Charlotte Hawkins from Good Morning Britain and Classic FM.
Filmed in the city of Maastricht, André’s hometown, the concert hall provides a backdrop with 150 chandeliers, 50 Venetian candelabras and an ice rink.
Tickets for André Rieu: Gold and Silver are £15 or £12.50 for concessions and available to book online at ticketsource.co.uk/the-fraser-centre-community-trust
