AN INVESTIGATION has been launched amid claims that fireworks were thrown by youngsters in Musselburgh town centre.
Police were made aware of the reports that fireworks were being thrown on the town's High Street on Thursday night.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the matter was being looked into.
They said: "Around 7.10pm on Thursday, October 31, we were made aware of youths throwing fireworks in the High Street, Musselburgh area.
“Enquiries are continuing to trace those involved.”
