A QUIZ night is next on the agenda for Longniddry Christian Aid, following on from a successful art exhibition.

Teams of between four and six people are being invited to sign up and join the quiz, taking place in Longniddry Community Centre on Friday, November 15.

The annual event is ‘bring your own booze’, with refreshments and snacks available on the night.

The group hosted an art exhibition early in October which was a resounding success, raising more than £1,300 to be shared between Christian Aid and CrossReach.

Attendees also heard about the work of the two charities from Viv Dickenson, chief executive of CrossReach; Sally Foster-Fulton, global ambassador of Christian Aid; and Val Brown, head of Christian Aid Scotland.

Entry for the upcoming quiz night is £10 per person and tickets can be bought by emailing LongniddryCA@outlook.com or sending a message to 07508 846007.

Anyone who would like to take part but cannot get a team together can contact Christian Aid and they will find a team for them to join.

The quiz starts at 7.30pm.
