FIREWORKS will light up the sky above a number of East Lothian’s villages as the county gets ready to celebrate Bonfire Night.
This year, the county's larger towns, including Haddington, Tranent and Dunbar, are not having official displays.
Musselburgh too is not holding its traditional fireworks display at the racecourse, although a bonfire and fireworks are taking place in the Pinkie area of the town.
However, Pencaitland, Humbie and Gifford will all be treating residents to displays.
In Pencaitland, Tuesday's display is for residents only.
In Humbie, a display takes place on Sunday afternoon in aid of the Humbie Youth and Community Fund.
Tickets, £6 for adults and £18 for a family, are available.
Mulled wine, hot dogs and more will be available as the display takes place on the field to the north of the main road heading to Fala, after Muirpark Cottage.
For more information about the display, which takes place from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, go to eventbrite.co.uk/e/humbie-fireworks-night-2024-tickets-1045572554657
Finally, a ticketed display also takes place in Gifford.
The display, which is for Gifford residents or immediate family of Yester Primary School pupils, takes place at the Yester Estate next Friday (November 8).
This year’s event is to support Gifford Town Hall and Yester Primary School Parent Council.
