A KNIFE and drugs were seized when police stopped a vehicle in Port Seton last Monday.
Response officers were carrying out proactive patrols in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At this time, they conducted a stop search of a vehicle found in suspicious circumstances.
“As a result of this search, a quantity of class A controlled drugs and a knife were seized.
“Warrants were granted and two properties in the Prestonpans and Musselburgh area were searched where further quantities of controlled drugs and prohibited weapons were found.
“A 47-year-old female and two males aged 43 and 27 have been arrested and charged with offences including supplying controlled drugs.”
