PRESTON Lodge High School's first inspection in 14 years gets under way today.
The visit, carried out by Education Scotland, will conclude at the end of the week, lasting five days.
The school was last inspected in 2010 and inspectors this week will be given the opportunity to gain insights from staff, young people and families through the process.

An East Lothian Council spokesperson, said: “The team at Preston Lodge looks forward to welcoming Education Scotland to the school so that we can showcase our improvement journey and gain valuable feedback to help shape future improvement.
"Inspectors will have an opportunity to gain insights from our staff, young people and families through the process, and we look forward to sharing the outcomes with our community.”
